About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network at the Canyon Country branch. In this front-line, customer-focused role, the Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completes transactions, and provides a welcoming and reliable experience. The Teller is a primary point of contact for customers and represents the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The role develops foundational banking skills by helping Tellers learn about customers’ needs and introduce helpful products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and connect them with a banker for detailed product conversations. They work closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and consistent, high-quality customer experiences. Wells Fargo provides training, coaching, and a team-based culture, with exposure to retail banking and opportunities for career growth and mobility.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.

Responsibilities

Accurately process transactions and engage customers with care to deliver a positive and reliable branch experience.
Process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships, actively listen to understand everyday financial needs, and connect customers with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
