About The Position

Texans Credit Union is seeking a full-time Teller to serve members face to face at its E Campbell Road branch in Richardson, Texas. The position performs member transactions accurately, maintains precise transaction records, and provides an excellent member experience. The Teller also assists the branch in meeting and exceeding sales goals by learning about and promoting the credit union’s products and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in a sales and service environment involving cash handling and face-to-face customer service.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check, credit check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members courteously, professionally, and promptly.
• Complete member transactions accurately and efficiently while providing strong member service. Transactions include deposits, withdrawals, account transfers, issuing negotiable items, loan payments, night depository bag deposits, and check cashing with proper holds where applicable.
• Maintain current and accurate knowledge of Texans’ policies, procedures, and compliance regulations to support organizational safety and soundness.
• Learn about Texans’ products and services to cross-service and cross-sell members and enhance their financial lives.
• Accurately balance the assigned cash drawer at the end of each day.
• Assist the branch in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
