About The Position

Texans Credit Union is seeking a full-time Teller to serve members at its E Campbell Road branch in Richardson, Texas. The Teller performs member transactions accurately and efficiently, maintains precise transaction records, and provides an excellent face-to-face member experience. The role also supports the branch in meeting and exceeding sales goals by learning about and promoting the credit union’s products and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in a sales and service environment involving cash handling and face-to-face customer service interaction.
• Successfully complete a background check, credit check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members courteously, professionally, and promptly.
• Complete member transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, account transfers, issuing negotiable items, loan payments, night depository bag deposits, and check cashing with appropriate holds where applicable.
• Maintain current and accurate knowledge of Texans’ policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
• Learn about Texans’ products and services to cross-service and cross-sell to members and enhance their financial lives.
• Accurately balance the assigned cash drawer at the end of each day.
