About The Position

Our Walker branch in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is seeking a full-time Teller. The Teller is the first point of contact for members, processing transactions accurately, maintaining cash standards, and helping members with financial needs. The role involves building relationships, meeting referral goals, and contributing to a positive branch environment. The starting pay is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service, cash handling, and balancing experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to initiate and embrace change.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50 pounds, usually coin.
• Availability for Saturday hours on a rotational schedule.
• Flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process daily work in a multitasking environment.
• Accurately process teller transactions and maintain cash balancing standards.
• Follow all policies and procedures, including branch compliance and security procedures.
• Provide superior service to prospective and existing members.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services to assist members.
• Meet individual referral goals and service standard expectations.
• Assist in any area of the branch as needed.
