About The Position

Texans Credit Union is seeking a part-time Teller for its E Campbell Road branch in Richardson, Texas. The Teller serves members face to face by accurately conducting financial transactions, maintaining precise transactional records, and providing excellent member service. The role also assists the branch in meeting and exceeding sales goals by learning about and promoting the credit union’s products and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in a sales and service environment involving cash handling and face-to-face customer service.
• Must successfully complete a background check, credit check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members courteously, professionally, and promptly.
• Complete member transactions accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of service, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, issuing negotiable items, loan payments, night depository bag deposits, and check cashing with applicable holds.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate knowledge of Texans’ policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
• Learn about Texans’ products and services to cross-service and cross-sell members and support their financial needs.
• Accurately balance the assigned cash drawer at the end of each day.
