About The Position

Texans Credit Union is seeking a full-time Teller to serve members at its E Campbell Road branch in Richardson, Texas. The Teller serves members face to face by accurately completing transactions, maintaining precise transactional records, and providing an excellent member experience. The role also assists the branch in meeting and exceeding sales goals by learning about and introducing members to the credit union’s products and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in a sales and service environment involving cash handling and face-to-face customer service.
• Must successfully complete a background check, credit check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members courteously, professionally, and in a timely manner.
• Complete member transactions accurately and efficiently while providing a high level of service. Transactions include deposits, withdrawals, account transfers, issuing negotiable items, loan payments, night depository bag deposits, and check cashing with appropriate holds.
• Maintain current and accurate knowledge of Texans’ policies, procedures, and compliance regulations to support organizational safety and soundness.
• Learn about Texans’ products and services and cross-service or cross-sell them to enhance members’ financial lives.
• Balance the assigned cash drawer accurately at the end of each day.
• Assist the branch in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
