About The Position

Serve members by providing accurate, efficient, face-to-face financial transactions and an excellent member experience. The part-time Teller maintains precise transaction records, stays current on the credit union’s policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, and helps the branch meet and exceed sales goals. This position is based at the E Campbell Road branch in Richardson, Texas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in a sales and service environment involving cash handling and face-to-face customer service.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check, credit check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience at a financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members courteously, professionally, and promptly.
• Complete member transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, account transfers, issuing negotiable items, loan payments, night depository bag deposits, and check cashing with proper holds where applicable.
• Maintain current and accurate knowledge of Texans’ policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
• Learn about Texans’ products and services to cross-service and cross-sell members and support their financial needs.
• Accurately balance the assigned cash drawer at the end of each day.
