About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network in Rosenberg, Texas. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurate transaction processing, and welcoming, reliable service. Tellers are a primary point of contact for customers and represent the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping Tellers understand customer needs and introduce helpful products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and connect them with the appropriate banker for detailed product conversations. They work with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. The position provides exposure to retail banking and can serve as a starting point for career growth, supported by Wells Fargo training, coaching, and a team-based culture.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or an appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen actively to understand everyday financial needs; connect customers with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, using sound judgment and managing risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, ask questions to clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures and fulfill risk and compliance obligations, including timely escalation and remediation of issues.
