About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring a Teller for its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processes transactions, and provides a welcoming and reliable experience. The Teller represents the branch through attentive service, care, and attention to detail. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping employees learn about customer needs and introduce helpful products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and connect them with bankers for more detailed product discussions. They work with branch teammates to maintain smooth daily operations and consistent customer service. The position provides exposure to retail banking and opportunities for career growth supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is part-time and based at 1225 US Highway 70 W, Garner, North Carolina. The schedule includes Saturdays. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking methods, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships by actively listening to everyday financial needs and connecting customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Use clear communication and active listening to clarify customer needs and explain solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance policies and procedures, fulfill risk obligations, and escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
