About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completing transactions while providing a welcoming and reliable experience. Tellers are a primary point of contact for customers and represent the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The Teller builds foundational banking skills, learns about customers’ needs, and introduces helpful products, services, and digital tools. The role identifies opportunities to support customers and connects them to the appropriate banker for detailed product conversations. Tellers work closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. The position provides exposure to retail banking and potential for long-term growth and career mobility, supported by Wells Fargo training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is located at 1900 E Victory Dr, Savannah, GA 31404-3713. The schedule will include Saturdays. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand everyday financial needs; connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercising sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify customer needs and provide clear, simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk programs, policies, procedures, and compliance obligations; monitor, identify, escalate, and remediate issues as appropriate.
