About The Position

Isabella Bank is seeking a full-time Teller. The role handles customer deposits, check cashing, withdrawals, loan and mortgage payments, and related transactions. The Teller also helps customers understand additional bank services, supports account opening and ATM/debit card PIN setup, maintains teller supplies, and delivers outstanding customer service. Travel to other branches to assist with staffing may be required.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Good mathematical skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Enthusiastic, positive, outgoing personality.

Previous cash-handling or teller experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts and endorsements, and enter deposits into computer records.
Cash checks and process withdrawals after verifying signatures and customer balances.
Promote and explain bank services such as CDs, safe deposit boxes, traveler’s checks, and money orders.
Receive mortgage, consumer loan, and other payments; verify amounts due, enter payments, and generate receipts.
Count, check, and package coins and currency.
Keep teller stations stocked with forms and supplies.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
Pursue personal development of the skills and knowledge needed for the position.
Perform other similar or related duties as necessary and other duties as assigned.
Deliver outstanding customer service.
Assist with account opening procedures.
PIN ATM/debit cards.
Document and file items into Synergy.
Travel to other branches to assist with staffing when required.
