About The Position

TEG Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Teller for its Poughkeepsie branch. The Teller supports members’ financial well-being by accurately processing transactions, identifying member needs, and recommending products and services. The role works 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, with a short-day Saturday and shorter hours during the week. It may also require flexible travel to support branch locations across Dutchess County. TEG Federal Credit Union serves members and local communities in the Hudson Valley. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of cash handling experience.
Comfort with computers and basic knowledge of Windows.
Ability to learn new software programs quickly.

Nice To Haves

Previous Teller experience is preferred but not required.
A valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle are strongly preferred.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Efficiently process daily member financial transactions.
Identify member needs and recommend tailored products and services to support their financial fitness.
Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions accurately.
Cross-train on advanced Member Service duties to prepare for future growth opportunities.
Travel as needed to support various branch locations across Dutchess County.
Take on additional collaborative tasks and projects to support the team.
