Full Time Teller- Beekman, NY
About The Position
TEG Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Teller for its Beekman/Poughquag Branch location. The Teller processes member transactions accurately, helps members identify financial needs and find suitable products and services, and provides an outstanding service experience. The role involves balancing cash drawers, reconciling daily transactions, cross-training on advanced Member Service duties, and traveling as needed to support branch locations across Dutchess County. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, with a short day on Saturday and shorter hours during the week.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of cash-handling experience.
- Comfort with computers, basic knowledge of Windows, and ability to learn new software programs quickly.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Teller experience is preferred but not required.
- A valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle are strongly preferred.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently process daily member financial transactions.
- Identify member needs and recommend tailored products and services to support their financial fitness.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions accurately.
- Cross-train on advanced Member Service duties to prepare for future growth opportunities.
- Travel flexibly to support branch locations across Dutchess County as needed.
- Take on additional collaborative tasks and projects to support the team.
