About The Position
First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a collaborative, customer-focused, and team-oriented Teller for its Lahaina Branch. As a representative of the bank in the branch, the Teller provides exceptional customer service, processes financial transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintains a thorough understanding of the bank’s products and services. The role serves a diverse range of customers, from people opening their first checking account to experienced investors managing their wealth. The salary range is $23.00–$26.50 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus sales incentives. The advertised range includes a location-based premium offered at select branch locations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with rotational Saturdays from 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.; hours may vary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Personal alignment with the bank’s core values of Caring, Character, and Collaboration.
- One year or more of customer service experience and cash handling.
- Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Attention to detail and the ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information.
- Sales advisory skills to educate customers about products and services.
