Teller (Rappahannock Branch)
About The Position
The Teller conducts credit and debit transactions in compliance with established bank policies and procedures. The role maintains an appropriate cash supply, prepares the daily proof record, and maintains an acceptable difference record. The Teller may process night deposits and ATM transactions, provides excellent service to bank customers, and may refer customers to other bank staff for product sales or problem resolution. Other duties may be assigned. The position requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools gained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. The Teller works under moderate supervision, handles problems that are typically routine but may sometimes require interpreting or deviating from standard procedures, and communicates information that may require explanation or interpretation. The role requires standing for extended periods and lifting objects up to 30 pounds. Compensation depends on factors including education, work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Requirements
- Typically requires 2 or more years of relevant experience.

- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 30 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Conduct credit and debit transactions in compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Maintain an appropriate cash supply and prepare the daily proof record while maintaining an acceptable difference record.
- Process night deposits and ATM transactions, as needed.
- Deliver excellent service to bank customers.
- Refer customers to other bank staff for product sales or problem resolution, as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
