About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurate transactions, and a welcoming, reliable experience. The Teller is a primary customer contact and represents the branch through attentive service and care. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping identify customer needs and introducing relevant products, services, and digital tools. The Teller connects customers with a banker for detailed product conversations and works with branch teammates to support daily operations and a consistent customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the position as an entry point to retail banking and potential career growth, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is located at 2301 Kell Blvd, Wichita Falls, TX 76308, and the schedule will include Saturdays. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen to understand customers’ everyday financial needs; connect them to relevant information, services, tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately while exercising sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, ask questions to clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable Wells Fargo risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues as appropriate.
