About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. In this customer-focused, front-line role, the Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processes transactions, and provides a welcoming and reliable experience. The Teller is a primary point of contact who represents the branch through attentive service, care, and attention to detail. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping identify customer needs, introducing relevant products, services, and digital tools at a high level, and connecting customers with bankers for detailed product conversations. The Teller works with branch teammates to support daily operations and provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the role as an entry point to retail banking and potential long-term career growth supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is located at 2970 Harbor Blvd, Costa Mesa, California. The schedule will include Saturdays. The stated base pay range is $22.00–$27.50; employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships, listen to understand everyday financial needs, and connect customers with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, using sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify customer needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
