About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network in a front-line, customer-focused role. The Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completes transactions, and provides a welcoming and reliable experience. As a primary point of contact, the Teller represents the branch through attentive service, care, and attention to detail. The role involves learning about customers’ needs, introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools, and connecting customers to bankers for more detailed product conversations. The Teller works with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. The position provides foundational retail banking experience and opportunities for career growth supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is located at 2970 Harbor Blvd, Costa Mesa, California 92626. The offered base pay range is $22.00–$27.50. Eligible employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. The schedule will include Saturdays. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.

Responsibilities

Accurately process transactions and engage customers with care to deliver a positive and reliable branch experience.
Process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships, listen to understand everyday financial needs, and connect customers with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly and use active listening to clarify needs and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
