About The Position

PlainsCapital Bank is seeking a Teller at its Weatherford branch. The role processes a variety of financial transactions and provides courteous, professional customer service while accurately handling transactions. The Teller also supports branch operations, maintains cash controls, verifies customer information, and helps customers learn about the bank’s products and services. Other duties may be assigned, and the responsibilities may be changed at the Company’s discretion.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Six months of previous cash, sales, and/or customer service experience.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with basic calculator skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment.
Excellent PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office products, as well as custom applications and systems.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, friendly, courteous, and professional customer service while accurately processing customer transactions.
Process transactions including check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and change orders.
Inform customers about bank products and services, their features and benefits, and refer customers to appropriate staff.
Perform scheduled branch opening and closing duties in accordance with security and dual-control requirements.
Maintain and balance the daily cash drawer and other receipts; balance the ATM when required; and assist with vault, TCD, and/or TCR balancing.
Verify customers’ signatures, account ownership, and identification.
Use the banking system to obtain account numbers and balances and research customer transaction questions.
Wrap and bag coin, verify currency, mix new currency, and turn in mutilated currency.
Process mail, night-drop, and ATM deposits.
Scan and upload documents to the appropriate file or department.
Perform other duties as required.
