About The Position

The Teller provides a best-in-class customer experience while processing transactions, servicing existing and potential customers, and contributing to branch sales goals. The role involves handling basic customer and cash transactions, balancing cash daily, identifying referral opportunities, and maintaining knowledge of the bank’s products, services, and other lines of business. The Teller must follow applicable banking laws and regulations, identify and escalate risks through proper channels, and learn and adapt to changing digital channels. Other duties may be assigned. The position is supervised by the assigned leader of the branch. Shifts may vary depending on business needs. The role requires standing for extended periods and lifting objects up to 30 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound business judgment.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift objects up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer experience.
