About The Position

The Teller provides a best-in-class customer experience while processing transactions, servicing existing and potential customers, and contributing to branch sales goals. The role performs basic customer and cash transactions, balances cash daily, identifies referral opportunities, and follows applicable banking laws and regulations, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures. The Teller identifies and escalates risks through proper channels, maintains knowledge of bank products and services, and learns and adapts to changing digital channels. Other duties may be assigned. The position is supervised by the assigned leader of the branch. Shifts may vary depending on business need.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound business judgment.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
