About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network in a front-line, customer-focused role. The Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completing transactions and providing a welcoming, reliable experience. As a primary customer contact, the Teller represents the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The role involves learning about customers’ needs, introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools, and connecting customers with a banker for detailed product conversations. The Teller works with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the position as an opportunity to build foundational banking skills and gain exposure to retail banking, with training, coaching, and potential for career growth. The position is part time and based at 15240 W Sunset Blvd, Pacific Palisades, CA 90272. The schedule will include Saturdays. The role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. The stated base pay range is $22.00–$27.50; pay may vary based on factors including performance, skills, experience, and work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercising sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
Follow applicable policies and procedures and fulfill risk and compliance obligations, escalating and remediating issues as appropriate.
