About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network at 2521 N Shepherd Dr, Houston, Texas. This front-line, customer-focused role supports everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller accurately processes transactions and provides a welcoming, reliable customer experience as a primary point of contact for the branch. The Teller develops foundational banking skills by learning about customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. The role identifies opportunities to support customers and connects them with the appropriate banker for more detailed product conversations. Tellers work with branch teammates to support daily operations and consistent service, with training, coaching, and opportunities for career growth. The schedule includes Saturdays. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen to customers to understand everyday financial needs; connect them to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, use sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly and listen actively to clarify customer needs and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance requirements, escalate and remediate issues, and make sound risk decisions.
