About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processing transactions while delivering a welcoming and reliable experience. Tellers are a primary point of contact for customers and represent the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The Teller builds foundational banking skills, learns about customers’ needs, introduces helpful products, services, and digital tools, and connects customers to bankers for more detailed product conversations. The role works closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo offers training, coaching, and a team-based culture to support learning and career growth. The position is located at 3071 West Ridge Drive, Dickinson, ND 58601. The schedule will include Saturdays. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process transactions and engage customers with care to provide a positive, reliable branch experience.
Process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand everyday financial needs; connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercising sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to ensure timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance requirements, policies, and procedures; monitor, identify, escalate, and help remediate issues.
