About The Position

Provident Credit Union is hiring a floating Teller to travel among its branches and provide coverage where needed. The role primarily covers the Peninsula region, with occasional assignments in other regions. Floating tellers handle cash, serve members, and share information about Provident’s products and services to help members manage their finances. The position offers exposure to multiple branch locations and communities and may open the door to future career opportunities at Provident. The role is based at Provident Credit Union in Redwood City, California, and requires travel to community branches. Mileage for travel to branches is reimbursed. Work schedules are Monday through Friday, either 8:45 a.m.–5:15 p.m. or 9:15 a.m.–6:15 p.m., and Saturdays, either 8:45 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 8:45 a.m.–4:30 p.m. On rare occasions, the teller may be asked to assist other regions depending on staffing needs.

Requirements

Prior banking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist members with transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
Recognize member needs and make referrals that may benefit them.
