About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network in Marina Del Rey, California. This customer-focused, front-line role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurate transaction processing, and welcoming, reliable service. Tellers are a primary customer contact and represent the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping employees learn about customers’ needs and introduce helpful products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and connect them with bankers for more detailed product conversations. They work with branch teammates to support daily operations and consistent customer experiences. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand customers’ everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Clarify customer needs and provide clear, simple solutions or next steps through effective communication and active listening.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
