About The Position

The Teller provides a best-in-class customer experience while processing transactions, servicing existing and potential customers, and contributing to branch sales goals. The position is supervised by the assigned leader of the branch. Shifts may vary depending on business need.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound business judgment.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent customer experience.
• Perform basic customer and cash transactions.
• Balance cash each day.
• Identify referral opportunities to contribute to branch goals.
• Follow applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures.
• Identify risks and escalate concerns through proper channels.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of bank products and services, including other lines of business.
• Learn and adapt to changing digital channels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
