About The Position

The Teller is responsible for providing a best-in-class customer experience while processing transactions, servicing existing and potential customers, and contributing to branch sales goals. The position is supervised by the assigned leader of the branch. Shifts may vary depending on business needs. This is a part-time position offering 20 hours. The salary range is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. Eligible teammates may participate in a comprehensive benefits package, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound business judgment.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while paying attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer experiences.
• Perform basic customer and cash transactions.
• Balance cash each day.
• Identify referral opportunities to contribute to branch goals.
• Follow applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures.
• Identify risks and escalate concerns through proper channels.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of bank products and services, including other lines of business.
• Learn and adapt to changing digital channels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
