About The Position

Texans Credit Union is seeking a part-time Teller for its N Josey Lane branch in Carrollton, Texas. The Teller serves members face to face by conducting transactions accurately, maintaining precise transaction records, and providing excellent member service. The role also supports the branch in meeting and exceeding sales goals by learning about Texans’ products and services and cross-serving or cross-selling to members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in a sales and service environment involving cash handling and face-to-face customer service.
• Must successfully complete a background check, credit check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members courteously, professionally, and promptly.
• Complete member transactions accurately and efficiently while providing a high level of service. Transactions may include deposits, withdrawals, account transfers, issuing negotiable items, loan payments, night depository bag deposits, and check cashing with applicable holds.
• Maintain current and accurate knowledge of Texans’ policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
• Learn about Texans’ products and services to cross-service or cross-sell members and help enhance their financial lives.
• Accurately balance the assigned cash drawer at the end of each day.
• Assist the branch in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
