About The Position

Texans Credit Union is seeking a part-time Teller for its N Josey Lane branch in Carrollton, Texas. The role serves members face to face by accurately processing financial transactions, maintaining precise transaction records, and providing an excellent member experience. The teller must be willing and able to help the branch meet and exceed sales goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in a sales and service environment involving cash handling and face-to-face customer service.
• Must successfully complete a background check, credit check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience at a financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members courteously, professionally, and promptly.
• Complete member transactions accurately and efficiently while providing strong member service. Transactions include deposits, withdrawals, account transfers, issuing negotiable items, loan payments, night depository bag deposits, and check cashing with appropriate holds.
• Maintain current and accurate knowledge of Texans’ policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
• Learn about Texans’ products and services to cross-service and cross-sell to members and help enhance their financial lives.
• Accurately balance the assigned cash drawer at the end of each day.
• Assist the branch in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
