About The Position

The Teller is responsible for providing a best-in-class customer experience while processing transactions, servicing existing and potential customers, and contributing to branch sales goals. The role performs basic customer and cash transactions, balances cash daily, identifies referral opportunities, and develops knowledge of bank products, services, and other lines of business. The Teller must follow applicable banking laws and regulations, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures, and identify and escalate risks through proper channels. The position also requires learning and adapting to changing digital channels and performing other duties as assigned. Shifts may vary depending on business needs. The position requires standing for extended periods and lifting objects up to 30 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound business judgment.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 30 pounds.
