About The Position

The Teller Services Coordinator supervises branch functions related to processing customer transactions and maintaining operational soundness. The role calls for strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, including the ability to indirectly motivate staff and organize and delegate operational duties. The coordinator also operates a teller drawer to serve customers in the lobby or drive-through, supports exceptional customer service, resolves customer concerns, and identifies cross-selling opportunities. Travel between branches may be necessary.

Requirements

Previous teller experience.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Run branch operational procedures and practices efficiently, including adherence to dual-control requirements.
Keep the branch team informed of policy and procedure changes related to teller operations, partnering with Branch Operations Support when needed.
Take a proactive approach to resolving operational issues.
Establish and ensure compliance with security procedures to protect employees and customers.
Lead by example by operating a teller drawer to serve lobby or drive-through customers.
Ensure team members follow bank and regulatory policies and procedures to maintain security and mitigate preventable losses.
Promote exceptional service throughout the team and ensure customers receive best-in-class service.
Resolve customer concerns, which may involve online banking, debit cards, or statement maintenance.
Recognize potential cross-selling opportunities and refer customers to appropriate bank personnel.
Participate in community events as needed.
