About The Position
Auto-Wares is seeking a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Local Route Driver to deliver automotive parts between company locations and support warehouse operations. The position starts and ends at the Bumper to Bumper store in Crystal Lake, Illinois. A company vehicle and gas card are provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is a full-time position. Compensation is described as competitive. Requirements
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and have held a valid license for at least two years.
- Have no major driving violations.
- Have no more than two moving violations within the past three years if over age 25, or within the past five years if under age 25.
- Have no more than one at-fault accident.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds using both arms.
- Be able to operate delivery vehicles safely.
- Be comfortable working in hot or cold environments.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and deliver parts between company stores, distribution centers, or warehouses.
- Support warehouse tasks.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns.
- Handle returns and inventory transfers according to company procedures.
- Represent Auto-Wares professionally during internal interactions.
- Perform other tasks as directed by warehouse or delivery managers.
