About The Position

The Teller Services Coordinator supervises branch functions related to processing customer transactions and maintaining operational soundness. The role requires leadership, organization, and communication skills, including the ability to motivate staff indirectly and organize and delegate operational duties. The coordinator also operates a teller drawer to serve customers in the lobby or drive-through, promotes strong customer service, and helps maintain a secure and compliant branch.

Requirements

Previous teller experience.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to travel between branches as necessary.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Run branch operational procedures and practices efficiently, including adherence to dual control.
Keep the branch team informed of policy and procedure changes related to teller operations, partnering with Branch Operations Support when needed.
Proactively address operational issues.
Ensure security procedures are established and followed to protect employees and customers.
Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-through.
Ensure team members comply with bank and regulatory policies and procedures to maintain security and mitigate preventable losses.
Promote exceptional service throughout the team and ensure customers receive best-in-class service.
Resolve customer concerns, including issues related to online banking, debit cards, and statement maintenance.
Recognize potential cross-selling opportunities and refer customers to appropriate bank personnel.
Participate in community events as needed.
