About The Position

The Teller Services Coordinator supervises branch functions related to customer transactions and operational soundness. The role calls for leadership, organizational, and communication skills, including the ability to motivate staff indirectly and organize and delegate operational duties. The coordinator also operates a teller drawer to serve customers in the lobby or drive-through, helps resolve customer concerns, and supports exceptional customer service. Travel between branches may be necessary.

Requirements

• Previous teller experience.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Run branch operational procedures and practices efficiently, including adherence to dual-control requirements.
• Keep the branch team informed about policy and procedure changes related to teller operations, partnering with Branch Operations Support when needed.
• Take a proactive approach to resolving operational issues.
• Establish and ensure adherence to security procedures for employee and customer safety.
• Lead by example by operating a teller drawer to serve customers in the lobby or drive-through.
• Ensure team members follow bank and regulatory policies and procedures to maintain security and mitigate preventable losses.
• Promote exceptional service throughout the team to support best-in-class customer service.
• Resolve customer concerns, which may include online banking, debit card, and statement-maintenance issues.
• Recognize potential cross-sell opportunities and refer customers to appropriate bank personnel.
• Participate in community events as needed.
