About The Position

The Teller processes financial transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering exceptional member service. This role focuses on building relationships, identifying member needs, and recommending appropriate credit union products and services.

Working hours vary to accommodate opening and closing procedures and according to business needs. The schedule is flexible and includes Saturdays; hours are subject to change based on business needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of retail sales and/or cash handling experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic keyboarding and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

• Financial institution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Provide professional, confidential member service.
• Engage members in solutions-based conversations about financial products.
• Resolve member concerns courteously and efficiently.
• Perform follow-up calls after new account openings.
• Adhere to security procedures and regulatory requirements, including Reg CC, BSA, OFAC, SAR, CTR, Reg D, and Red Flags.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and balancing standards.
