About The Position

The Teller/CSR serves as First Southern National Bank’s primary face-to-face representative for most customers. The role focuses on developing customer relationships, selling products, delivering superior customer service, and pursuing the bank’s performance goals and objectives. First Southern National Bank is a community- and relationship-driven bank serving twelve counties throughout Central and Western Kentucky and has served customers for over 40 years.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cash-handling and customer service experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication and interaction skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Demonstrated aptitude for basic mathematical computation.
• Strong computer literacy and openness to learning new applications.

Responsibilities

• Process full-service teller transactions in accordance with company policy and standards.
• Open new deposit accounts and grow existing customer relationships as directed.
• Listen to customer needs and promptly offer appropriate bank products and services.
• Understand the bank’s loan, deposit, and other product and service offerings and explain them effectively to current and potential customers.
• Provide timely, helpful, and accurate responses to customer requests and complaints.
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports as needed.
• Comply with applicable laws and banking regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
