About The Position

This is an opportunity to bring psychiatric expertise to members whose behavioral health needs are tangled up with their medical and social challenges. As a Telepsychiatrist, you evaluate Carewell members with behavioral health needs and partner with our care team to build plans that address the whole person. The role is built around three connected areas: Psychiatric Evaluation — conducting initial evaluations for members with behavioral health and advocacy needs. Treatment Recommendations — providing clear recommendations to members, their providers, and the care team. Care Team Consultation — helping nurses, social workers, and care navigators support members with behavioral health needs. This is a part-time 1099 contract engagement. You set your own availability. All member interactions take place by video or phone.
