About The Position

As part of a team providing 24/7 coverage to a hospital switchboard the Telephone Operator/General Clerk 3 links external and internal callers to the appropriate resources.   • Must be able to meet all requirements for access to federal facilities, which includes presenting a REAL ID compliant license/ID, U.S. Passport, or other acceptable form of identification as required by the REAL ID Act

Responsibilities

  • Respond to all incoming calls and internal communications using Cisco Finesse via WebEx.
  • Serve as a resource to the caller, determine the nature of the call and direct to the appropriate department.
  • Implement specific protocol for handling emergencies and other notifications. Execute, respond and monitor all critical and emergency codes.
  • Record and transmit messages; keep records of calls placed; provide information to callers.
  • Represent Fora professionally, maintaining courteous and respectful communication.
  • Participate in supervision meetings, training, and required safety programs.
  • Follow all policies outlined in the site Procedures Manual and Fora's Employee Handbook.
  • Maintain a workplace free of harassment, discrimination, and unsafe conditions.
  • Report any safety, harassment, or discrimination concerns to a supervisor, Operations Manager or HR.
