About The Position

TimelyCare is hiring a remote 1099 Telehealth Physician to provide clinical evaluation, assessment, and treatment to students, faculty, and staff using its virtual care platform. The position is under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Medical Services. Physicians provide care in states where they are licensed, including synchronous and asynchronous services, and prescribe medication when indicated.

The role requires a secure, HIPAA-compliant home or private-office workspace, reliable internet meeting approved speed requirements, and successful completion of credentialing, onboarding, and training. Physicians must follow HIPAA requirements, compliance standards, and company policies and procedures. Candidates with at least 40 state licenses are strongly preferred; at least 30 state licenses are required.

Physicians who join the MedicalNow coverage network select their own coverage blocks and dates. OnDemand sessions typically take no more than 15 minutes, though complex sessions may take longer at the clinician’s discretion. Compensation is up to $35 per completed weekday visit and up to $45 per completed overnight or weekend visit. Malpractice insurance is included while actively working on the platform. Valid U.S. work authorization is required; sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

• Current physician licensure in at least 30 states.
• Board certified or board eligible.
• Active prescriptive authority to prescribe medications.
• Experience in primary care, family practice, emergency medicine, or urgent care.
• Strong communication and diagnostic skills.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Valid U.S. work authorization.
• Maintain reliable internet meeting approved speed requirements and a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace free from distractions.
• Complete credentialing, onboarding, and training programs and adhere to HIPAA, compliance standards, and company policies and procedures.
