About The Position

Werner Enterprises offers an 11-week summer internship program designed to connect classroom learning with real-world experience. This paid internship includes dedicated job training and learning opportunities in a collaborative, inclusive environment. The role is based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska, with some remote and off-site opportunities potentially available. Paid housing or housing assistance may be available. The intern supports Zoom and Five9 communication and contact center tools, assists users with troubleshooting, helps monitor service performance, and contributes to training materials, integrations, onboarding, and usage analysis. Development activities include Lessons with Leaders sessions, a mentor program, intern activities, community support events, networking, and a summer project proposal and presentation.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the setup, configuration, and daily management of Zoom meetings, webinars, Chat, Phone, and Five9 contact center tools.
Help troubleshoot user issues involving Zoom and Five9, including audio/video problems, connection issues, and platform errors; escalate issues to senior staff when necessary.
Assist in monitoring Zoom and Five9 service performance and uptime, and promptly report outages or disruptions.
Create and update user guides, FAQs, and training materials to help team members use Zoom and Five9 features effectively.
Help integrate Zoom and Five9 with other business systems, such as Salesforce and bot applications, to support seamless workflows.
Assist with onboarding new users to Zoom and Five9, including account setup and basic training.
Gather usage statistics and feedback to help optimize platform usage and suggest improvements.
