About The Position

The Technology Strategist is assigned the job role of Principal Technologist in Infosys’ Strategic Technology Group (STG). STG brings together senior technologists and technical leaders to address complex, large-scale technology challenges across software development, cloud-native architectures, enterprise platforms, data engineering, and emerging technologies. The role combines deep technical expertise, architectural judgment, hands-on leadership, mentoring, and influence over technical practices and direction. The position defines architecture and develops platforms aligned with organizational goals; oversees design validation, code quality, and complex solution development; and contributes to strategic platforms and solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements. It develops technology roadmaps and long-term strategies, drives organizational change and transformation, assesses emerging technologies, and helps resolve high-risk project situations and complex test-phase issues. The role owns end-to-end architecture for large-scale, mission-critical, cloud-native systems; creates reference architectures, reusable frameworks, proofs of concept, and solution blueprints; and promotes consistency, performance, scalability, and security. It also serves as a senior technical advisor, engages with client and executive stakeholders, supports account opportunities, drives innovation and intellectual property initiatives, and mentors architects, technologists, and engineering leaders. The position may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location. Infosys does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role now or in the future.
