About The Position

As a Technology Specialist with CACI, you will join a team that develops and manages Training Resource Model (TRM) data for 1st Special Forces Command (A) and its Component Subordinate Units. The data enables them to articulate, justify, and defend Training Resource Requirements. You will manage the full lifecycle of financial forecasting systems and serve as the point of truth for financial data, maintaining the Excel and SharePoint tools that support the TRM while advancing products through automation.

You will solve business problems related to fiscal resources in a complex environment, working with inherited tools. The role includes data analysis and visualization, database design support, technical coordination, and collaboration with the Site Lead and TRM Managers to refine processes and products. You will also train unit leaders to use the tools to articulate and justify resource requirements, and help establish processes for capturing essential data and knowledge.

The position requires a current TS/SCI clearance, relevant experience, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, data analysis, business intelligence, and programming. Travel is up to 10% and local. The position is regular and full-time.

Requirements

• Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
• At least five years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or ten years of recent specialized experience with professional certifications in lieu of formal education.
• At least three years of professional experience as a Data Analyst in a complex operational or financial environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to organize and deliver high-standard written and verbal products.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly SharePoint administration, design, and architecture.
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and nested logic, pivot tables, advanced data modeling, macros, and VBA automation.
• Critical and conceptual thinking skills to translate analytical findings into compelling narratives through data visualization and BI platforms.
• Experience bridging BI modalities and Maven Palantir to produce dashboards that help clients make informed decisions.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical and data system issues.
• Programming experience in JavaScript, HTML, Python, ArcPy, and VBA for Microsoft applications.
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight.

Nice To Haves

• At least five years of specialized experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Direct experience developing interactive dashboards using Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and extracting data directly from relational databases.
• Experience implementing workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate or Power Apps.
• Knowledge of data science or analytics programming languages, including Python (Pandas) or R, and Foundry (Palantir).
• Five or more years of military service or direct experience supporting military operations.
• PMP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of financial forecasting systems, including reverse-engineering, redesigning, and maintaining complex Excel and SharePoint tools.
• Assist with database design and coordinate required hardware, software, and technical support.
• Analyze data to identify spending trends, forecast funding shortfalls, and create data visualizations that inform decision-making.
• Work with the Site Lead and TRM Managers to develop and refine the TRM process and products.
• Train and educate unit leaders to use tools to articulate and justify resource requirements.
• Establish and maintain processes for capturing essential data and knowledge, coordinating with relevant functions.
