About The Position

As a Technology Specialist at CACI, you will be part of a team that develops and manages Training Resource Model (TRM) data for 1st Special Forces Command (A) and its Component Subordinate Units. The data enables these units to articulate, justify, and defend Training Resource Requirements. You will manage the full lifecycle of financial forecasting systems and serve as the authoritative point of truth for financial data. The role involves maintaining and improving the Excel and SharePoint tools that support the TRM, solving business problems involving fiscal resources in a complex environment, and advancing TRM products through automation. You will work with the Site Lead and TRM Managers to develop and refine TRM processes and products, analyze financial data, and help unit leaders use the tools to articulate and justify resource requirements. The position also interfaces with relevant functions to establish processes for capturing essential data and knowledge. Travel is up to 10%, and the position requires a current TS/SCI clearance.

Requirements

Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
At least five years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or ten years of recent specialized experience with professional certifications in lieu of formal education.
At least three years of professional experience as a Data Analyst in a complex operational or financial environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to organize and deliver high-standard verbal and written products.
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly SharePoint administration, design, and architecture.
Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and nested logic, pivot tables, advanced data modeling, macros, and VBA automation.
Critical and conceptual thinking skills to translate analytical findings into compelling narratives using data visualization and business intelligence platforms.
Experience bridging BI modalities and Maven Palantir to produce dashboards that help clients make informed decisions.
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical and data-system issues.
Programming experience with JavaScript, HTML, Python, ArcPy, and VBA for Microsoft applications.
Ability to work independently with limited oversight.

Nice To Haves

At least five years of specialized experience.
Bachelor's degree.
Direct experience developing interactive dashboards using Power BI.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and extracting data from relational databases.
Experience implementing workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate or Power Apps.
Knowledge of data science or analytics programming languages, including Python (Pandas) or R, and Foundry (Palantir).
Five or more years of military service or direct experience supporting military operations.
PMP certification.

Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of financial forecasting systems, including reverse-engineering, redesigning, and maintaining complex Excel and SharePoint tools to improve efficiency and redundancy.
Assist with database design and coordinate required hardware, software, and technical support.
Analyze data to identify spending trends, forecast funding shortfalls, and develop data visualizations to inform decisions.
Work with the Site Lead and TRM Managers to develop and refine TRM processes and products.
Train and educate unit leaders to help them use TRM tools to articulate and justify resource requirements.
Establish and maintain processes for capturing essential data and knowledge, coordinating with relevant functions.
