Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a recruiter preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Prior technology recruitment experience is required.
  • Completion of university degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication, and social skills.
  • Excellent sourcing and screening skills.
  • Ability to establish relationships with all levels across the organization.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and result-oriented environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities/demands.
  • Curious attitude. Willingness to learn about the investment/wealth management industry.
  • Ability to demonstrate a true desire to be proactive and persistent in meeting strategic objectives.
  • Discretion when handling confidential information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Bilingualism in French/English
  • Completion of or working towards the CHRP designation

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a targeted sourcing plan to proactively source strong candidates with an emphasis on technology talent through a variety of search resources (social media, internal database, job boards, networking, internet searches, events, etc.)
  • Assess talent by sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define and implement appropriate recruitment and selection strategies that support the achievement of business goals.
  • Recruit talent across all Fidelity group of companies within Canada and at all levels.
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition coordinators who lead the administration and coordination tasks related to recruitment.
  • Contribute to important projects and initiatives to advance the talent acquisition function.
