About The Position

The Branch Installation Technician deploys, installs, and supports technology systems in Edward Jones branch offices throughout an assigned territory. The role leads branch installation projects from start to finish, including structured cabling, workstation deployment, networking equipment, telephony, audio/visual systems, and coordination of third-party contractors. The position requires strong technical knowledge, independent work, and exceptional customer service. Approximately 75% of assignments involve overnight travel, including air travel, hotel stays, and extended time away from home. Travel may involve consecutive overnight stays and assignments beyond the immediate geographic area. A company-provided vehicle is supplied for business travel where applicable. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or four years of related experience in lieu of a degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling four years.
Valid driver's license, which must be maintained.
Must be at least 21 years old for vehicle insurance.
Maintain residence within the assigned territory.
Maintain reliable high-speed internet access.
Carry a company-issued mobile device and respond to business communications as required.

Experience leading branch, office, or retail technology deployments.
Strong knowledge of structured cabling, cable management, and telecommunications infrastructure.
Experience installing and supporting computing, networking, telephony, print, and AV systems.

Strong organizational, documentation, and customer service skills.
Ability to support installation projects outside the assigned territory when business needs require.
Three or more years of field installation, field services, infrastructure deployment, or IT support experience, or one year as a Field Service Technician with CBIZ Network Solutions.

Responsibilities

Travel throughout the assigned territory to perform branch installations, relocations, renovations, and technology refresh projects.
Deploy computers, monitors, printers, networking equipment, telephony systems, and audio/visual equipment.
Install, terminate, test, and maintain structured cabling in commercial environments.
Lead on-site installation activities and coordinate Field Service Technicians, vendors, and contractors.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, telephony, and AV issues during installation projects.
Complete installations in accordance with company standards, project requirements, and quality expectations.
Maintain project documentation, work logs, ticket updates, and asset-tracking records.
Package, ship, receive, and reconcile technology assets according to Asset Management procedures.
Train and support end users after technology deployments.
Maintain inventory of tools, installation materials, company vehicle stock, and project equipment.
Coordinate installation schedules and communicate project updates to customers, project managers, and internal teams.
Operate and maintain a company vehicle in compliance with company policies and safety requirements.
Deliver exceptional customer service.
Perform related installation and project responsibilities as assigned.
