About The Position

Dimensional’s Technology Department uses evolving technologies to engineer scalable, innovative, research-driven solutions for clients. The Network Solutions Manager leads and develops a global network engineering team and is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing resilient network infrastructure across data centers and cloud environments. The role develops network strategies for hybrid cloud environments, promotes Infrastructure as Code and automation, and oversees network protocols, services, security, compliance, and vendor relationships.

The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into network solutions, evaluates emerging networking and AI technologies, and drives innovation in network services and architecture. The role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant career experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in network engineering and operations.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role managing a global team.
• Expertise designing and managing complex network infrastructures, including VXLAN, BGP, MPLS, hybrid cloud environments, and micro-segmentation.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team and foster accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree or relevant certifications, such as CCNP or CCIE.
• Experience collaborating with cybersecurity teams to implement a Zero Trust security model.
• Interest or background in using AI-driven tools and automation to improve network monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with using AI technologies to improve network operations, security posture, and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with standards bodies and frameworks such as NIST 800-37, CIS, and SANS.
• Experience with next-generation firewalls such as Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, or Checkpoint; VMware, NSX, or VRA.
• Strong working knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, QoS, and IPv4/IPv6 fundamentals.
• Knowledge of WAN design for real-time video streaming and large video file transfers.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, ELK, and Grafana.
• Experience with unified communications and telephony systems, including Cisco, Microsoft Teams, and voice recording tools.
• Experience with video conferencing technology such as Zoom, Webex, and Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a global team of network engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and career development opportunities.
• Design, deploy, and manage resilient global network infrastructure across data centers and cloud environments, ensuring availability, performance, and security.
• Develop and implement network strategies and architectures for hybrid cloud environments, using network virtualization and micro-segmentation technologies.
• Promote Infrastructure as Code practices and use tools such as Ansible and Terraform to automate network provisioning, configuration, and management.
• Oversee core networking protocols and services, including BGP and MPLS, and optimize routing and traffic management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver network solutions aligned with enterprise goals.
• Manage vendor relationships to support cost-effective procurement of network services and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for network security and data protection.
• Monitor emerging networking and AI technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization.
• Drive innovation in network services and architecture.
