About The Position

The Network Solutions Manager leads and develops a global team of network engineers while overseeing the design, deployment, and management of resilient network infrastructure across data centers and cloud environments. The role develops network strategies and architectures for hybrid cloud environments, including the use of network virtualization and micro-segmentation, and promotes Infrastructure as Code practices to automate network provisioning and management.

The manager oversees core networking protocols and services, collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into network solutions, manages vendor relationships, and ensures compliance with network security and data protection standards. The role also tracks emerging networking and AI technologies and assesses opportunities to improve network services and architecture. It is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant career experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in network engineering and operations.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role managing a global team.
• Expertise designing and managing complex network infrastructure, including VXLAN, BGP, MPLS, hybrid cloud environments, and micro-segmentation.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team and foster accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree or relevant certifications, such as CCNP or CCIE.
• Experience collaborating with cybersecurity teams to implement a Zero Trust security model.
• Interest or background in using AI-driven tools and automation to improve network monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with using AI technologies to improve network operations, security posture, and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with standards bodies and standards such as NIST 800-37, CIS, and SANS.
• Experience with next-generation firewalls, such as Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, or Check Point.
• Experience with VMware, NSX, or VRA.
• Strong working knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP; VLANs; QoS; and IPv4/IPv6 fundamentals.
• Knowledge of WAN design for real-time video streaming and large video-file transfers.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, ELK, and Grafana.
• Experience with unified communications or telephony systems, including Cisco, Microsoft Teams, and voice recording tools.
• Experience with video conferencing technology, including Zoom, Webex, and Microsoft Teams.

• Monitor emerging networking and AI technologies and trends, assess their potential impact, and drive innovation in network services and architecture.
