About The Position

SAP America, Inc. is hiring Technology Consultants in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, under a hybrid work model. The role evaluates clients’ business needs and translates functional requirements into technology solutions. It involves defining IT governance, strategies, architecture, and transformation maps; designing and implementing IT components; and supporting system design, performance optimization, and operations. Consultants develop and assess IT organization and support-process strategies, identify technology enablers for business strategies, define IT landscapes and transformation maps based on enterprise requirements, and conduct IT transformation management toward BPP. The role also evaluates technology trends, provides expert consulting on IT components, executes solution deployments, and supports integrated system landscape setups.

The position requires up to 30% domestic travel to various and unanticipated customer sites for project support. The annual base salary range is $109,866–$143,910, with a targeted combined compensation range of $109,866–$159,900. Actual compensation depends on factors such as education, skills, experience, role scope, and location; variable incentive payouts depend on company and personal performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation; alternatively, a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in one of those fields and three years of experience.
• At least three years of experience with SAP S/4 conversion and migration.
• At least three years of database administration involving HANA, ASE, Oracle, DB2, and MSSQL.
• At least three years of SAP BASIS, BTP, and FIORI administration experience.
• At least three years of SAP disaster recovery experience.
• At least three years of SAP HANA scale-out, DataMart installation or administration, and XSA installation experience.
• At least three years of SAP Solution Manager experience, including MSC and EWA.
• At least three years of Unix or shell scripting experience.
• At least three years of experience migrating products such as ILM and WWI to cloud environments.
• At least three years of experience with cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Ability to travel domestically to customer sites for project support, up to 30%.
