About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on rental equipment safely and effectively to minimize downtime. The fleet varies by location and primarily includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty-line locations may also include large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil and gas-related equipment. The role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and develop skills for a career track in service or operations management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• May need to provide tools of the trade.

Nice To Haves

• Some trade school or equivalent training.
• Five or more years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment, heavy equipment, or specialty-line equipment such as large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil and gas equipment.
